This week's intentions have gone unfulfilled, not because of lack of effort but due to the inclement weather the bipolar temperatures, and the general public's lack of funds my outside gig fell short by 10 hours. Typically I work 5 shifts a week at one establishment roughly 5-6 hrs a shift that on normal terms I yield about a 100.00 day in tips. My 6th shift at another gig one night a week when needed usually funds a walking stipend of 125-250.00 depending on the event. Last month 2 events were canceled it's the nature of the beast. The stretching and rendering of these tils make my world go around. I have lived a life like this for 30 years. It is what I have done to raise kids, own a home and maintain a vehicle up until this year!
I have one young adult still at home. I really do not ever see that changing. Although he is a very independent and a good working kid, his 2 current jobs do not pay enough for him to live elsewhere. If he wanted to move out, it would be his choice and I would have no problem with it. For now, though, this roof over his head, which he contributes to is home to both of us! My home, the shoebox as I refer to it, is being maintained the best I can accommodate and the vehicle situation let's just say is a mess of another kind. We both are without our own and are borrowing vehicles til the proper situation arrives to purchase others! It's frustrating, we both have put over 1000.00 dollars in cars that ultimately have broken down beyond repair! Nonetheless, we have transportation to get us back and forth to where we need to go for employment. It is this blessing in nature I am wholeheartedly grateful for! #livingingratefulness
There is the unfulfilled dream vs the harsh reality that I am facing today. I have for the last 2 weeks sat at my sewing machine reinventing the wheel and redefining my KM Designs Merchandise. When I come home early, I need to shift modes from autopilot to creative genius. It takes me weeks to methodically see it in my head in order to apply it to a practicality. I then take a few hours at a time to get things cut out and piecemeal it together to see if it going to work. Many of my creations I don't work with a pattern, it's what I see in my mind's eye and pray that is meshes according to my glorious machine. Altered clothing is a direction I see myself going in. I am finding an odd sense of comfort in blending pieces of fabric as almost quilting, meshing fabrics... IDK it's cathartic. It offers some sense of peace, knowing I have accomplished what I have seen in my head. (it's very noisy in there and it is not for the faint of heart!)
I mentioned in my last post/ article about the boom of agriculture over the next 5 years. We are going to see a greater return to small-town living or at least simpler ideas on how we live. I can not be clear and loud enough, I hate (strong word) living in this area. Who in their right mind (today)moves in this part of the area. It is crime and drug-filled. You do not go backward...when choosing where to reside! You find a way for progress to allow you to navigate further out...
It is not unrealistic to have a dream or to have a goal to achieve. For years on end due to this location, I have had this vision of how I see my life. As stated previously just because you do not understand it, you do not get to criticize someone for wanting a higher level of success. It is fear and having no motivation, lack of mindset, and being very narrow-minded to just settle because this is all you know! I am going to lay out this plan to you... If your small mind can't comprehend it that is a shame and I (as a life coach) will understand exactly why you keep choosing the same. {Your choices have been safe and easy and its familiar and that is why you are a miserable human making the same choices}
A day in ... Reminder, I want to build a life I do not need a vacation from! I want to own a house on several acres with a barn to board horses. I want to teach on my property and I want to sell my arts, crafts and merchandise to offset the above! I still plan to work an outside small gig!
Maybe the plan below will give you the same vision I see!
1. Living Close to Nature
- Daily Connection with the Outdoors: You'll wake up each day to the serene beauty of open land, surrounded by the sights and sounds of horses grazing, birds singing, and the changing seasons.
- A Space to Breathe and Create: The acreage offers you a private sanctuary for reflection and artistic inspiration, allowing your creativity to thrive.
2. A Purposeful Lifestyle
- Horses as Companions and Responsibility: Caring for and boarding horses will bring both joy and a steady rhythm to your days, as their upkeep requires dedication and fosters a deep sense of responsibility.
- Sharing Your Art: Hosting art classes on your property allows you to nurture creativity in others, build meaningful connections, and establish yourself as a local mentor in the arts.
3. Entrepreneurial Freedom
- Your Own Boss: Running multiple revenue streams—horse boarding, art classes, and a roadside stand—gives you the freedom to manage your time and work according to your passions.
- Community Engagement: Selling handmade goods at your roadside stand connects you with neighbors and travelers, creating a sense of community and shared appreciation for craftsmanship.
4. Financial Sustainability
- Diverse Income Streams: The combination of horse boarding, teaching art, and selling merchandise ensures financial stability and reduces dependence on a single source of income.
- Grant Support: If your property qualifies for grants, you’ll have financial assistance to make your dreams a reality without overextending yourself.
5. Emotional and Social Fulfillment
- Hosting Events: Your property could become a hub for art exhibitions, equestrian events, or seasonal markets, fostering joy and togetherness.
- Inspiring Others: By pursuing your dream, you inspire others in your community to follow their passions and create fulfilling lives.
Challenges to Prepare For
While the vision is idyllic, there will be practical hurdles, such as:

Overcoming Potential Challenges
Physical Demands:

One of the main reasons people can not comprehend this is because it requires work and application to apply the effort it is going to take. I just read a post about people and their seasons, where I understood the message, I disagree with the sentiment because it implies that because you get old and you have aches and pains, you are supposed to slow down and do nothing but sit in an easy chair and settle with someone because you feel like you're running out of time, you've made horrible previous choices and you have given up on yourself! and the other risks you should be chancing!!! while you still have life!
I don't get it... here is an example. Life coaching: Often time women are put into the preserver role! The guy who has failed in every relationship and can not make good on his own emotionally, physically and even financially, will bank on what that woman has to offer him (to save him) so he does not have to strive for more than the clearance rack life he has always known. He settles on the one who will tolerate his bad life choices and the one who believes his sad song stories. {She believes that her being in his life it will help him have a better existence} He chooses that woman who has no defined attributes because she doesn't want more... she is brought in under whatever false pretenses to keep the guy afloat mentally etc... His focus has always been on what can be done for him! His greatness and competence fall short because he doesn't want to achieve the higher expectations there is outside of his simple mind to choose a different lifestyle.
She on the other hand has had a series of heartbreaks. Divorced twice, a widow in one case, and financial setbacks and burdens she took on that financially set her back. She is desperate to find someone and something that will offer her peace. Peace of mind, peace of time, and a financially secure position because she doesn't want to grow old alone and she knows she is running out of time! She is depleted from life's mishaps and she prays that by doting on this one she is going to receive a reprieve from the losses she has sustained in life. She has given up on her looks. Her self-care now will be devoted to someone who emotionally can not reciprocate, offering her a better way of living. In turn, her health will suffer greatly because she chose on "the last call" relationship. She gave up! Sadly in the long run... she will never be enough! In her old age after trying and trying to be in that support role; When she realizes the role she has been put in she will be out of time.
I am not saying my vision, goal, or dream is for everyone! There are other dreams and goals out there that have a greater potential more suited for someone else agility. Time or age should not be defined as just wanting to sit back and watch TV thinking you can finally do nothing but wait to die.
My current challenges do not deter me from completing the task I set out to achieve. I still get up and go into my gig. I do my job as deemed in the role set before me that needs to be applied. I give it my best personality! I then come home and strategize how I can better market my goods. I speakth my dream to anyone that listens and I promote who I am with what I am capable of doing. I never put the dollar amount or the expectations of cost that is the associated with what I am trying to pull off. I know in my heart of hearts the above written out is the life meant for me... and I will not settle for anything but that!
I also will cut off anyone who tries to downplay my ambition or who wants to chastise my efforts towards building a better life! I have found it very ironic those that who have achieved nothing in their life feel they can project their shortcomings because they do not have the foresight and are not equipped for more other than to live small-minded like everyone else they know. There is a world of "the same" types of repeated patterns for dating and not having a greater drive to accomplish anything else in theirs. {but as long as they're coupled up, their misery will have company!)
I discuss all of this in my business coaching 95.00 and life coaching class at 65.00! I have taken my studies and have applied to my enrichment art classes! I have taken my real life experiences and I have meshed into instructing students who want more for their life... You take what you know and you learn to monetize it! You take your passions and you turn them into living the best life on your terms! Loving what you do every day... making money the way you know how!!!! It takes these smaller steps to embark me on the bigger ones!
Even in my painting classes 45.00, we discuss perception and perspective. Taking shapes and turning them into images that you can conceive from a thought! It is transferring color and a creative idea and putting it on canvas through the mind-eye-hand concept!!!! When you have a creative outlet, the logical part of your life works better!!!
WHEN YOU CHOOSE THE SAME, YOU GET WHAT YOU GOT! (some may never understand this and they look at their miserable lives and wonder why they can't be content at best)
