Pretty In Pink... Perfect In Paisley!

My days have all run together... Whats the day? Whats the date?  I am starved... famished! What day is it? Oh that's right its Sunday, February 19... roughly 8:45 A.M. Guess its kind of early for meat and potatoes isn't it? Meat and potatoes the substance that nourishes the soul, soothes the average man and puts fuel in a persons body. Its what warms the inners. Right? Funny how a person will deprive them self for what is needed to feed the mind, the body and the spirit. The meat and potatoes, the meaning probably has more to do with what actually makes a person feel fulfilled then the overall product of such. You know that satisfying feeling of contentment. I find it ironic how a person will deplete oneself and starve them self for what is needed... in life, in a job, in their relationship with self and or with another not feeding them self what they truly need to survive...happily and healthy! Ever After!!! Crumbs... a trail, a morsel, a nibble of something that never fil...

In the mind of a writer and an incurable romantic, Christmas is full of wonder and magic. It breathes hope and passion and ignites everything imaginable. It relights memories and highlights tradition. It focuses on true meanings and the real joy of the spirit. No matter how old you are at this time of year you long for ... Magic! Something out of the ordinary that reaffirms something bigger than yourself! My favorite Christmas read is Paint Me Rainbows by Fern Michaels... and although I don't recall (at the moment) the moments leading up to the end... This I vividly recall. The main character is in church broken hearted from a horrible fight and the guy angry leaves town. She reflects on the year and everything that transpired, trying to separate differences and come to terms with the fallout. It's Christmas Eve, snow is falling. The congregation is singing Angelic hymns. Trying to keep her composure and hold it all together offering up prayers and blessings... She turns ar...
