Pretty In Pink... Perfect In Paisley!

When I set out to do this photo shoot, my intent purpose was to do some fun vintage pin up shots for publicity needs. Since I started writing for Play Channel Magazine, I needed a few fun shots. I also thought with my birthday in the week ahead... Not a model by any means "let's just see what this 53 to be old girl could   R-E-P-R-E-S-E-N-T!"  LOL It had taken weeks to gather my ideas and shopping for the right outfit became imperative. I was going for a look and I knew I needed to stay in that stream of vintage. Strategically, I plotted in my mind how I wanted the shoot to go. I set out to find the correct photographer and I specifically chose Brian Mueller Photography because of his professionalism and the ease he puts his clients at. I knew in the long run it would be his professional eye and at my discretion on the shots that he would take.  I needed to have the control. I have recently decided if I am going to player reporter and paparazzi... than lets do this right!  There is enough activity buzzing around my local surroundings. You may even find that I will drive a bit of distance to get an up and close better perspective on something. Do not though be surprised if I throw in a personal moment or two either... that is all apart of being a writer and having way too much emotion... and some attachment to the story. So for right now at this particular moment, "this girl about town", I am going to just leave you with some pictures to mull over...  See my kid, the oldest (who I could not be more proud of) says, "Mom let's take a drive." needless to say the drive included an extra two hours because we got lost, GPS failed us seriously, just to go to Metropolis Illinois, Yes home of Superman. It was their super hero fest... and my own super hero kid had to participate! Enjoy the living animation... It was quite the adventure

It is always this first sentence I get stuck with… The let’s grip you from the very beginning, sink your teeth in opening and saddle on up statement because I have something to say! I have convinced myself it is something y’all need to read! After all it is a new year so why not have a new perspective and shine a brighter light on an old subject! Relationships and what we expect from our mate! I can only speak from my experience with what I grew up with, what I was taught and what I saw. I am a firm believer we are products of our environment and although we get to pick and choose the better parts of our growing up and learning years, as adults, we still become what we have seen and what we have not seen, we over compensate and make up for!
