It's All In The Making...
Its all in the making isn't it? Aren't we all works in progress? Steps in motion? A process of growing and learning. Strategically finding out whats real and where all our the passion really lays?
Working from home...
I am living by my calendar and planner. I am setting up sessions and classes... and taking on full-time responsibilities adhering to my plan and goal. My financial responsibilities have not changed... I am still accountable for all my actions... For too long, I did everything by myself stretching everything possible to survive, flourish and create this life I have been trying to live. Living minimally works for me and I am able to have it all and do it all! Change happens... it is said" You improvise, overcome and adapt" (Its a mental and emotional thing! This mind does not shut off and I think constantly... Ok what's next?)
With very mixed emotions a tenure this past Jan came to its end. After years of devout loyalty on my part... A parting of ways occurred. A must for my safety concerned. As I had stated in a previous blog post, "In order for the environment to change... one must leave its environment." Which with no trepidation I did! I quit... I walked... and I bid... Farewell!
Shifting income is never easy. There will be times of an unequal balance. Money has such a bad taste in some peoples mouths and feelings harbored over it sometimes crushingly brutal. Where 50/50 is expected... it is often 40/60, 20/80 and sadly 0/100 at times. Temporary, everything is temporary... money and the means to earn tip the scales every day! Trust me when I say this... there should be audio... "I AM NOT ONE TO SIT ON MY ASS AND EAT BONBONS IN FRONT OF THE TV WHILE DREAMING MY LIFE AWAY WHILE PRETENDING I AM A KARDASHIAN!" That scenario is no more me than the man in the moon. I can not shake that old voice though that says... "You have nothing to offer." and that again is not the case either.
Do you realize how many traditional roles are still being played out in this country? Do you realize how many women still stay at home and raise their kids providing stable home environments for all that live in that household? Its season and timing! Its seasons and blessings! Moms you will have your time too?! I may not have a small child to take care of anymore but I do have a larger responsibility towards having a happy loving home... filled with every bit of love needed to create a stable home life!
There are so many creative women out there that are on the brink of starting their own endeavors! Setting so many examples for others ... inspiring talent waiting to share their gifts and knowledge for others to learn from! While mentally strong men willingly support their women's ideas... because they believe in their woman's dream!
Yes, I am extremely lucky, fortunate and blessed!
#1 because I never keep quiet about my work! (lol)
#2 I tell every detail on how I am going to do it!
#3 I post every picture and or endeavor I accomplish and speak repeatedly, what my next move is going to be!
#4 I walk my talk...
#5 I believe in the cause...speaking to women to step outside their comfort zone and go for their dreams!
And So much more so on and so forth!
You don't need anyone's validation but your own!!! Too many times women think they need someone to tell them "Honey go ahead if that's what you want!" When in actuality, women should be saying this is what I am going to do and how I am going to do it!"
I will though ask for the sake of asking!
Who is on your side? Who is cheering you on? You has your back and Who is in your tribe?
When I started writing a few years back and really took it all serious, I wrote about relationship issues. All types of relationships play huge roles in the successes of every situation involved and if you are not willing to step up and pick up the slack ... providing moral and balance you really need to look at your motives involved!
When I decided to take my business to the next level, I reached back to what I had studied in college and took on a few new refreshing research studies in general life conditions for all type relationship building, business mentoring, marketing strategies, branding and lifestyle/fashion trend for any success to ensure what I was qualified for. I have studied online life and biz coaching courses. I do not claim to be a psychologist... but I do claim to be able to address and pick out your best qualities helping you choose life projects, career moves, pointing out business successes, discovering obstacles that keep you blocked or bogged down, helping you choose a better path towards a more fulfilled purpose lived life! Setting forth your best image and tweaking how you apply to your lifestyle. It is important for you to recognize your own strengths and weaknesses... You invest in yourself... you invest in your time...you invest in whats best for your life... For that reason alone it is your life! Let me change the shift here for just a second. It truly helps others also that I am an artist. I have been given the gift of perception and perspective. We each can look at the same tree and see different things. So many fail to understand even if you are seeing the shadows in anything... there is great knowledge in the shadows! There are roots that hold that tree standing. There are branches that droop because years of wear and tear has given strength in remaining at all! Preservence in life... One of my very very favorite sayings, "IT IS NOT WHAT YOU SEE BUT WHAT YOU DO NOT SEE THAT CHANGES THE PERSPECTIVE IN EVERYTHING." "It is not what you lose but what you have left that you learn from and share with anyone that can benefit!" Kitryn Marie
Preservence and the willingness to change... IMPROVISE, OVERCOME AND ADAPT!
There are stories to tell... stories to share and many many more stories to write! "You can not judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree" Albert Einstein (I am sure he and I would have been great friends! Sure of it!) There is much to gain by the abilities that you have yet to recognize. I am not willing to let one more woman with a creative mind fall to prey to some yahoo who wants them to live a life not meant for them! Why would anyone do that??? Why...just why?
