The Season For Giving
Tis the season!! It is a season of giving to others but have YOU had a life of criticizing, chastising and placing blame on the ones you love! Have you stolen joy from those you have claimed to love? Have you twisted misfortune and transposed your misguided feelings onto another... because you personally could not get it right? and now to alleviate a guilty conscious this is how you feel life has been rectified?
Merry Christmas my readers! Yes, Merry Christmas! Watching the hustle and bustle this year just feels really off and the personalities of the masses completely not right. I have noticed such a discombobulated array of behavior. It has seriously made me take a step back and keep distance as necessary from afar! Have you seen it? Are you aware of what is happening?
I'd like to say its end of year/decade blues, maybe it could be Mercury Retrograde or Jupiter is at play. I'd like to say the whole world at large has a huge case of PMS and it has affected most but sadly it is none of the fore written. We are seeing a collective of CONSCIOUSNESS and the restlessness of behavior that has taken its toll and the past 10 years has a way of turning back around and slapping misjudged actions right in the face to those that placed blame chastised and criticized. Merry Christmas, the hypocrite has been born!
I was reading a post that had been written about a group of people giving back to a community. It is a known fact that this place is made up of misfitted individuals with the likes of some assorted characters. This time of year they rally together and provide things to those that are not able to feed their own families, who do not have enough money to pay their mortgage or other bills and are not able to provide presents for this season for their children. Mostly this organization centers their activities around a bar type setting attracting the likes of those that use the term very loosely " I joined for the camaraderie. I wanted to be able to donate my time. I wanted to do something to help out and give back. Etc etc... (where again a known fact drinks are cheap and the bar is always open and easily ready to get to if you have a key) " Under normal circumstances this type of charity for the misfortunate is a terrific gesture... but here is my qualm.
Too many judgments are passed on those that have fallen on hard times creating hypocrites. You can say you CARE but those you have loved, those in your life...so easy to bash for the same misfortune. Is it easier to give to someone you don't know? (No attachment, no power or control to hold something over someone's head)? Are You helping for the glory of saying "I HELPED! I GAVE! I DID THIS FOR YOU!!" To people who have needed assistance. While you are handing out these boxes of goodies... are you saying to these people you don't know, " You don't want to work! You are looking for someone to provide for you! Are you getting food stamps too? You need to go get a job?" Are you seeing this double standard?
How is it a person can claim I WANTED TO GIVE BACK TO A COMMUNITY when they could not (can not) even contribute emotional, mental and possibly temporary financial support to the one's they love and who loved/loves them? Misfortune is misfortune. Falling on hard times applies to EVERYONE and the same empathy and compassion need to be given NO MATTER who it is!
Or one better, the person who has sat their life addicted to misery, barside choosing that lifestyle over finding adequate means to support their own family; PURPOSELY CHOOSING, using and abusing other people to provide that healthy sustenance that is/was needed for their own? There is no reckoning of conscious, or absolution of sins when it comes to deliberate diligent neglect. Providing donated items to the needy when you yourself was the needy; placing blame, chastizing and harshly criticizing people in your environment for falling on misfortunate hard times.
I am flabbergasted! Wow, reverse psychology of a newer CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK.
I sit back and I watch behavior and I listen to the words written. I sit back and recall integrity and how blame is so easily placed when people can not be ACCOUNTABLE AND RESPONSIBLE for their own misguided steps.
"Me me me ALL ABOUT ME", as you brag boast and have the audacity to say, " I am contributing to a community organization because I want to help and give back!" All the while you very openly and loudly have passed judgment on those you claim to have loved/love who had fallen on hard times!
This time of year people have an assorted amount of discord amongst themselves for various reasons. If not for the loss of a loved one... a loss of self and a life path not properly taken. This consciousness and restlessness is seen everywhere. If one does not reckon with self and the selfish motives acted towards, no amount of charity given to someone else is ever going to make up for their pathetic behavior. UNGRATEFULNESS is an ugly trait. It transcends discontentment through all gestures making all attempted good deeds null and void. It is seen with abhor to others who watch and know all stories!
People who give everything they have when they have nothing to give then to be made ashamed of for not having the CORRECT lifestyle because of misfortune and life's mishaps... and the TAKERS of that gesture those people who have not APPRECIATED any of the loving gestures WHO TOOK FOR GRANTED have absolutely NO BUSINESS GIVING ANYTHING ANYWHERE TO ANYBODY... saying "I WANTED TO GIVE BACK! I WANTED TO BE APART OF... "
This is what hypocrites are made from! The actions of self...and for self and the reasons for selflessness come with a price. Some a reward they cannot afford to take.
May this season of giving be pure and from the heart. May the love you give and receive be without motive. may peace and tranquility bestows itself onto all of your generous actions not just for this time of year but for all years coming.
