The Sum Of... Your Normal Existence
Today has been quite the day. The answering of emails and the endless seek and find of newer opportunities. Frustration, aggravation, and here we go again have taken a temp spot in my life. Rebuilding of life, career, and a calling that never seems to not be beckoning. I mostly attribute that to the area where I live and the lack of individuals or groups that do not want better for their lives. Too many are complacent with things they just have settled for. The normal of mundane and they have no need or desire for growth and more. {it gets old} yawn... The key to all enlightenment comes from the enrichment one can learn from gaining knowledge and awareness. Being aware of their own bull sh.t and desperately needing change. Change requires effort and the ability to alter one's every day... sum of! but that change requires work! It requires a different mindset!!!
A calling is something a person knows they are meant to do. Although many have gifts few are chosen to utilize that gift. It takes a driven practice that is necessary. It is going out on limbs, branching into places, and dealing with people who have no clue what else could be available for them because that familiar routine is embedded in their societal mind. They continue living a very outdated method of working/living where no one can indulge in the possibility that there is something else to live by and for. That work I spoke of comes from looking deep into how a soul... in this case a human has been shaped; leading into the factors because they have only been taught one way. The drilling into their mind you must work for someone else, you must chase a paycheck and you will allow someone to tell you your worth and through that worth then they will tell you what you will earn based on enslavement hours combined with what they deem fair according to experience, education and a clock. Have that make sense to me... because that does not!
If we take this a little deeper, look at all these folks who are in student debt because that same societal thinking told them they must get a degree to succeed in life. Many have struggled to earn that degree, graduating with honors only to find jobs in that field that pay pennies per hour and they can not quite figure out how to survive on a ridiculous salary; scratching their head at the people in their lives who gave them this advice. Work hard and you will become successful... (and probably develop anxiety and suffer severe mental issues) and to mention develop ulcers and other life-threatening issues because of a work environment not feasible for human conditions.
I know too many people who have become sick from their jobs but yet they continue to beat their head against walls to stay at a place that is literally killing them. Those same people who work above and beyond because they were taught a work ethic that no longer is appreciated or practiced by anyone else in that outfit. By all means though there is a paycheck at the end of that rope! (so hang on for dear life)
We can take this a step further, the person who thought he could run his own business by associating with fellow rummies, hoping that the good time Joe he was would yield him an opportunity to expand his expertise. The only thing that opportunity led him to was a bankrupt company with a horrible reputation that no one wanted to hire him in the first place. The old adage you don't eat where you sh.t! The mindset of this opportunist failed miserably ... leaving this person with no other choice but to go back and work for someone else who controls all the strings. Holding licenses, certificates or degrees for someone else is never favorable. Not everyone is meant to be an entrepreneur. It takes a diligent effort to stay focused and organized and to be able to pay attention to all the details regarding marketing with having a sales pitch so believable that customers would have been clamoring to hire him but this person totally missed the mark falling short on morals and ethics in regards to business and life in general.
