It Does Not Matter Where You Go In Life
It does not matter where you go in this life as long as you remember where you have come from and how your start began! It is pretty plain and simple and one needs to always be reminded no matter how far to the top you climb; you can very easily slide back down to those humble beginnings. No one is better than anyone! Although there are those that will present themselves to appear to be greater than thou and there will be those that are educated a bit more in a field and there will ultimately be always/always those just damn lucky that they got a break to help them get themselves to a "higher" platform. Talent and a charmed life do not go without some attitude adjustments... some that really do feel they are above and their delusions of grandeur and greed have taken quite the form of their personalities.
As a woman who follows and has studied from some of today's motivational creative speakers and DIY's,; Those who started at the beginning with nothing but some raw talent and few inspirational thoughts and quite the required ambition, their lives have changed and egos have been put into quite a place. Where building a community has been quite the platform boost, it has contributed to their "look at me lifestyle". Social media and all the other type video outlets have allowed each to grow their business but also have given (some) them the advantage to just feel superior to those that are watching and reaching out. I have said it time and time again! Put your own attitude in check! Be careful who you follow or who you want to mimic and or emulate. It is human nature to be hungry and thirsty for knowledge and there is a mass of human beings looking for an easy way ... That mass of humans will follow ANYONE into the desert because they are told there is water!
To be an influencer of today's standards and really make a difference in their personal bank account, needs to wear the best of trendy fashions, and jewelry. The make up and hair must be impeccable! Drink from the "shiniest's of mugs. Drink the best of beverages. Use the fanciest of technology and KNOW how to use it! ( if a one man operation) Take pictures amongst pictures so they are able to show "proof" of existence! Know business content that can be shared and understood and then presented to their target market.... That target market that is CLINGING, FOLLOWING AND CLONING that item, service, product or look! Throw in some Jesus and Halleluiah you got believer envy! (The Kardashians... need I say more!)
Let me add "SERVICE" Offering online classes, that will give something for free to get "them" to bite! Then sell the package... and then give them the deadline to buy or GOD FORBID THEY ARE GOING TO MISS OUT! So here you have a bunch (a hungry audience wanting for more) who are looking for an easy solution to build what they need because someone OFFERED AND SOLD something that looks so easy!!! ... Let me say this too! This is not an easy sell although if you have mastered the art of ILLUSION you can sell anything!
Imposter syndrome has taken over and although there are truly many remarkable people out there offering timeless information AND GREAT MOTIVATIONAL TIPS, it takes time, patience and the understanding of the 'sociology" factors in human nature. Gorilla warfare in the advertising industry has always been around it just now has become easier to present! The art of acting and action can "make" anyone!
Those that have a team and have hired or keep on retainer: have someone who is 1. an assistant ( personal scheduler/keeping track of appearances etc...) 2. someone who researches and writes content/social media post. 3. and 4. A photographer and a videographer and then a 5. website builder... oh don't forget 6. 7. and 8. hair, make-up, and wardrobe. And if you are a Miss or Mr. Fancy pants, a housekeeper and a nanny. ( I mean the last one with all due respect... I'm just being sarcastic) One though, must UNDERSTAND in order to have the above mentioned you have to have had a substantial (FROM THE GET GO) a Sales and service offer to get you LAUNHCED off the ground. The above is not going to happen just because you follow someone or you simply think I can do that or more delusional I am going to be an overnight SUCCESS!
Just because a person presents and represents any product or service and has an "ONLINE" presence they automatically do not become "SOMEONE" of worthiness for lack of better words. They too have had some very humble beginnings. (Kate Gosselin just a small example. She got too big for her own good and it destroyed her persona and her mission)
I remember not too far in the past, last April to be exact!!! My ex reached out making an absurd statement, while I was trying to build my own online platform changing up the way I was doing business and restructuring the way I was presenting my new platform! ( For my Life and Business Coaching) His words, " Girls that are too into themselves, gives men a reason to look for outside activity and to be lead astray." My response, "No men who can be lead astray are insecure, need their own ego fix and can not hold a candle to the ambition or the talent that comes from a confident woman who knows how to present herself to a larger audience for the sake of business and career!" (Sitting on a barstool speaking drunk talk to a bunch of addicted souls does not yield high dollars in a bank account!)
In this day and age, having an online presence is a must but its the character and the integrity behind how it's all being presented and sold. Having a community and having that community trust who you are; needs to have not only an impact but a broad intelligent awareness of image. The words that are being spoken must be of truth and have credibility in the statements in regards to service and products. Tried, True and Tested!
A person's image says so much about who they are but to present a false representation of anything eventually is going to be found out and exposed because those masses that followed into the desert will come to understand they have not only been taken for but lead astray and now are dehydrated from the truth because someone got too ahead of themselves and they allowed greed to filtrate their life.
Let me please reiterate for the sake of redundancy, "I DO NOT NEED A MILLION DOLLARS! I DO NOT NEED TO BE THAT ONE IN A MILLION GIRL! I do though need to take a stance and honest approach and represent any product I am associated with to the best of my ability... wearing trendy clothes having my makeup done etc etc... and or being camera ready in any fashion is just a part of this new age. It is though, about being who you are through authenticity and speaking in the best possible light because you believe not only in yourself but what you are representing. As you grow, allowing yourself not to think you are better than anyone or making anyone feel less than you because of what you are trying to achieve. You hope you are providing a service they need! (Which gives that audience reason to see what is coming next!)
If a person from your community ask you any question, you answer because of integrity. You answer because you appreciate that they follow you! You are grateful for their interest! Humble starts with the way you respond to your audience! By sending a link to what you are trying to sell does not represent you personally. Offering a solid response says more than you can imagine! You took the TIME to respond to that person because they needed a real answer. (You got there because of them... so take the damn time to respond correctly)
