In Order To Get... He Better Get To It... Also
Now that summer is winding down, possibly I can reconnect with keeping my blog up to date ! When you are a one woman show... I have thrown efforts elsewhere neglecting one entity to build another! Often my content switches gears. I change up content or do an art project to visually stimulate... its what keeps my life interesting and gives my readers/viewers something to ponder. If you have read my last post and seen the video that accompanies it... You know HORSES are my thing. Honestly I could give everything up that I entrepreneurially do...just so I could work with my horses... but in order to have the horse THING I need to continue earning to afford the business side of this endeavor! Works in progress and my persistent work effort to build from the ground up my HORSE SURRENDER AND RESCUE FACILITY. SPAGHETTI FARMS
So maybe now you are asking, what purposeful intent would I have in mentioning all this? Well, in my round-about approach I am going to talk to you about the compatibility factors that you have with your significant other based on the common interest or not so common interest that ATTRACTS you to whom you are involved with. The physical attributes that make you swoon over what you partner does. The physical activites that keep you in shape so therefore you can't keep your hands off of the other person. {Let me just throw in here right now, at 58 my needs for intimacy have changed dramatically but I am not dead. I still crave "what does it for me" it just is done in some not so touch way} It is though still the physical attributes, not to confuse that with the superficial attributes that a person has, but it is the visual stimulation that we all need in our lives towards our significant other. The things that we each personally find attractive about our partners physical appearances.
Too many people stop caring about the way they look. They fall into this mode of a comfortable relationship status where they no longer feel the need to stay in shape, be healthy, be hella hot or strut your stuff! Holding hands is all fine and good when you are 97? but whats your sex life like now? System maintenance is great if you are just seeing what all still works but are you willing to settle for just that? Self satisfaction... only goes so far so what are you willing to do about the way you LOOK to get your "other" to take notice and longgggg for?
I think couples do not pay enough attention to who their partner idolizes on TV. There is a huge reason!!! Its the physical attributes!!!! Its the way they carry themselves!!! Its their personna of hotness! (Oh trust me this is a real thing!) back in the day Marissa Tomei, Angie Dickenson, Tom Selleck, and even ole Sly Stallone did it for us older types but what about by today standards? There truly is a gosh darn reason why we like the way people look! We have innate types! The things and those hella hot looks... that do it for us!
I love Kevin Costner. ( He comes rolling into St. Louis looking for me!!! See Ya! LOL) Although my daughter says, "yeah mom he looks all good and stuff but what if he is a tool? GASP AND SHUT YOUR MOUTH RAECHAL ANNE! Look I can not speak for anyone else... but let me explain here Lucy why!
I am infatuated with that ALL AMERICAN presence. The clean rugged boy next door type. Love your mom, baseball and lets ride them ponies. His tall lean exercised frame, the broad shoulders that carry his confidence, that sandy blonde hair, those freaking light eyes and that million dollar smile!!! (OH MY!) That slight Texas accent... his musical abilities. His love for the environment and preserving the land!( and his hands on approach for working that land) His hands hard working! Those long fingers that strum that guitar. The weathered lines on his face... the facial hair he neatly grooms! And all and all the way he proudly and confidently carries himself! There is no hemming and hawing in his performance for just being a genuine good looking human being.
In my personal book of types there is no room for a sloth life, beer belly, don't care hair or any other reason someone has let themselves go to the wolves...for that matter! Physical appearances still matter and whomever I am walking this earth with needs to match not only my way of thinking(in regards to healthy couples who compliment each other who truly look like they belong) Such as Sophia Vergara/Joe Manganeillo, Jessie James Decker/Eric Decker, Carrie Underwood/Mike Fisher, Goldie Hawn/Kurt Russell etc etc... but the understanding of common visible compatibility goals when it comes to what each is going to have to keep up with to stimulate the other's eye!
Yeah it might all sound very superficial but look at a few couples you know, really take notice on the physical appearances that they have let go in their appeal and see how it has affected their relationship. I'm telling you... more and more couples who were once hot and heavy are now cold and fat!
It is so important to me for health reasons to stay in shape. At 58 working with horses and the physical strength that is needed to reprimand and train a 1200+ lb equine is a necessity... but mud dirty and all, I want to look dang pretty doing it too! And for that critic that wants to still claim " You know girls like you that are too into yourselves" Us girls that are too into ourselves take gosh darn pride in not only our appearance but the message we are teaching a society that has turned to Gluttony!
Again I am 58, not dead! I want my guy to look at me with that twinkle in his eye... him knowing ... in order to get... he better get to it...also!
